Don Reinaldo is one of the brands under which Lou’s preserves and smoked products are distributed. Founded in 1880 and active until 1975, it was not until the 1990s that Manuel Reinaldo Loureiro Pérez, great-grandson of the founder, took over the company, orienting the production towards quality and innovation.

The sardines and mackerel, from the Arousa estuary itself, are selected with a sophisticated tool called “human eye”, smoked with natural woods and carefully canned by hand. The whole process is handmade (so much so that they still use some machines that are more than 70 years old) and natural, without preservatives or artificial additives. That is why production is very limited and they are so difficult to find.

An ideal pleasure to open the mouth before a meal accompanied by some rye bread, if possible, or with some thin strips of spring onion on top. A true luxury dish, a gourmet experience to surprise your friends.
