VERKOSTUNGSNOTIZ:
- Auge: Kirschrot mit orangefarbenem Rand, glänzend.
- Nase: Intensive Aromen von reifen roten Früchten, Himbeere, Walderdbeeren, Holznoten, Muskatnuss, Vanille, Karamell und Zeder.
- Gaumen: Weiche Tannine. Intensiver Nachhall von Erdbeerkonfitüre, Kakao und Vanille, mit einer feinen Säure im Abgang.
HERKUNFTSBEZEICHNUNG: La Rioja, Spanien.
WEINBERG: La Rioja Alta.
REBSORTEN: Tempranillo.
AUSBAU: Nach der Gärung reift der Wein zwei Jahre in Barriques aus amerikanischer Eiche – im ersten Jahr in neuen, im zweiten Ausbaujahr in vier Jahre alten Fässern.
HERSTELLUNG: Die Lese erfolgte von Hand in 300-kg-Kisten mit gekühltem Transport bis zur Kellerei. Entrappen und Quetschen nach Bordeaux-Art. Anschließend folgten alkoholische und malolaktische Gärung bei kontrollierter Temperatur. Es werden vier traditionelle Abstiche von Fass zu Fass durchgeführt.
SPEISEEMPFEHLUNG: Ein idealer Begleiter zu Aperitifs, kleinen Zwischenmahlzeiten, Tapas und Grillabenden; perfekt zu Reisgerichten, Pasta und Eintöpfen im Allgemeinen sowie zu Fleisch und mildem Fisch von der Plancha.
