Viña Alberdi Crianza 2015 (Tempranillo)

TASTING NOTES:

Appearance: Cherry red, with orange edges, bright.
Nose: Intense aromas of ripe red fruits, raspberry, wild strawberries, woody notes, nutmeg, vanilla, caramel, and cedar.
Palate: Soft tannins. Intense aftertaste, with hints of strawberry jam, cocoa, and vanilla, with a final acidity.

DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: La Rioja, Spain.

VINEYARD: La Rioja Alta.

GRAPES: Tempranillo.

AGING: After fermentation, it is aged for two years in American oak barrels, new during the first year and four years old during the second aging period.

PRODUCTION: The grapes were harvested manually, placed in 300kg boxes and transported refrigerated to the winery. The wines were destemmed and crushed using the Bordeaux method. They then underwent alcoholic and malolactic fermentation at a controlled temperature. Four traditional rackings were carried out from barrel to barrel.

WINE PAIRING: A great accompaniment to appetizers, snacks, finger food, and barbecues, perfect with rice, pasta, and stews in general, as well as with mild grilled meats and fish.
