Muga Reserva Special Selection (Garnacha, Graciano, Mazuelo and Tempranillo)

TASTING NOTES:

Appearance: Purple color with reddish reflections.
Nose: Aromatic notes of ripe red fruits: plums, blackberries, blueberries, currants. With hints of licorice, flowers, minerals, and toasted wood.
Palate: Intense tannin flavor with balanced acidity. It has a velvety texture on the palate. It has fruity and saline notes.

DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN: Rioja.

VINEYARD: Muga Wineries.

GRAPES: Tempranillo, Garnacha.

AGING: This wine is aged for 26 months in French oak barrels. It is also refined in the bottle for 12 months.

PRODUCTION: The grapes are gently pressed and fermented in oak barrels for several weeks using native yeasts. The wine is then aged in these barrels for 26 months. Before bottling, a clarification process is carried out with egg whites. Finally, the wine is refined in the bottle for 12 months before consumption and sale.

WINE PAIRING: Roasted red meats, stews, cured meats, game birds, sausages, lamb, pork chops, sauteed vegetables, red-sauced pasta, mushroom risotto, mature cheeses, nuts.

RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18°C
