Conserves Angelachu is a family-run canning factory located in Santoña, Cantabria, that stands out in its sector for the production of fish preserves in a truly artisanal way, respecting and taking care of the original and traditional processes.

The preparation of our salted fish begins with salting, evisceration, and packing the fish in barrels. At Angelachu preserves, we carefully monitor its evolution. With the same care, and once the optimal maturation period has been reached, we proceed to the next phase: hand-soaking, which consists of removing the skin from each fish extracted from the brine, one by one, using nets. This preserves the properties and characteristics of the raw material. Next, it is cut, washed in cold water, and squeezed. The final stages are filleting and packaging in olive oil.

At Angelachu, our production is very carefully controlled and limited to anchovies and canned fish.
