Ramón Franco
Founded in Galicia in 1961, the brand was born from a direct connection to the sea, cultivating its own mussels in the Ría de Arousa. It selects only pieces of exceptional size and flavor, respecting natural cycles and advocating for responsible fishing and production. Each can is handcrafted, with meticulous care in cleaning and arranging the seafood, reflecting more than half a century of experience and passion for authenticity. Thus, each can represents the soul of the Galician sea and the commitment of a family to quality.

Where the mussel with the authentic flavor lives.
Ramón Franco was born to the rhythm of the sea, in Punta Saleira, A Pobra do Caramiñal. Initially, its founder cultivated mussels from nurseries in the mussel farms, tending to them patiently, aware that good things take time. Over the years, those freshly harvested mussels, the knowledge of the master mussel farmers, and the artisanal attention to detail have become the heart of each can of preserves.
Today, with several generations at the helm, Ramón Franco remains true to that spirit: they select, clean, and place each piece by hand, let the product rest as if it were wine, and pamper their homemade sauces. And although their canned goods have crossed borders, the inherited philosophy—that of a clean, Galician, flavorful product—remains intact. Each can tells a story of the sea, patience, craftsmanship... and pride.
