Situata sui pendii di Peñafiel, Pago de Carraovejas è stata la prima cantina della Ribera del Duero a utilizzare il Cabernet fino al 25%, a impiegare il rovere francese per le sue barrique e a introdurre l'irrigazione a goccia.
Nel 1991 ha realizzato la sua prima vendemmia.
